Race Information

October 3: Race #1 - Heiser Farm (Dayton, OR)
One of the best venues Oregon cross has to offer, Heiser Farms. John Heiser has an amazing farm outside of Dayton, OR where spectators have as much fun as the racers. John offers hay rides to and from his pumpkin patch, corn/hay mazes, delicious food, a petting zoo, and a hay castle. Did we mention the pumpkin cannon? The crew from pdxcross.com captured the fun and the muck in 2008.

October 24: Race #2 - Battlecreek Cross (Salem, OR)
This old South Salem golf course provides for some unregulated fun in sandpits. No putting wedge necessary; just a solid drivetrain! Anyone who prefers sand traps to run ups will enjoy this course.  The only bumps on the course were created by the resident moles, can you say FAST!

November 7: Race #3 OBRA Cyclocross Championships (Salem, OR)
Bicycleattorney.com OBRA Championships at the Oregon State Fairgrounds: Where to begin? The four buildings you'll ride through and your partner/family will appreciate? The indoor Hopworks beer garden adjacent to the course? Possibly the live band? Waffles and Belgian style fries for fuel? This will be a Belgium style cyclocross festival for sure!

You can register online for the series or for a single race here. Series pass will run $50 for adults and $15 for Juniors. Series registration will be available online only. Adult single race = $20 online / $25 day of race. Junior single races always = $5. Online registration will close at 12 pm each Friday before the Saturday race.

Desalvoblue

Several of our team riders (me included) have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of our cross and 29er custom frames from our bike sponsor DeSalvo Custom Cycles. Looks like team member Sean got his custom frame first, pictured above. It's a steel cross frame painted a nice team-matching shade of blue.
